Queen Mary University of London

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is (along with University College and Imperial College) one of London's most famous Universities. It is London's premier University for plant biology, evolution and ecological genomics. It has a 13 member Evolution and Genetics research nexus within the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences (SBCS). Active plant genomics research groups include those of Andrew Leitch (stochiogenomics and polyploidy) and Richard Buggs (speciation and tree genomics).

The University has a strong program of graduate training at PhD and MSc level. It offers one year MSc programs in "Bioinformatics" and "Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics".
