BIOL 324 Introduction to Seed Plant Taxonomy
This course emphasizes morphology, evolution and identification of all major groups of extant seed plants. Both traditional and genomic approaches are emphasized. Laboratory teaching focuses on the flora of the Pacific Northwest.

This course deals with the concepts, principles, applications, and recent discoveries in genome structure, genetics, and comparative genomics in plants with a focus on economically important plants.
